Job Description: Azure Platform Engineer (EDP Enablement)
In this role, you sit at the heart of the Enablement & Accelerated Adoption (EDP) team. You are not just building infrastructure; you are building the "Golden Paths" that allow product teams to consume Azure securely and at speed. Your goal is to reduce friction for developers while maintaining the strict compliance guardrails required in banking.
The EDP Enablement Ecosystem
Core Responsibilities
Platform Enablement: Architect and maintain "self-service" capability stacks, allowing development teams to provision environments without waiting for manual ticket-based intervention.
Accelerated Adoption: Provide technical consultancy to application teams migrating to Azure, helping them refactor legacy workloads for cloud-native patterns.
Golden Path Engineering: Build and maintain standardized templates (Terraform/Bicep) that come pre-configured with security, monitoring, and networking standards.
Developer Experience (DevEx): Focus on reducing the "time-to-first-deployment" by optimizing CI/CD pipelines and documentation.
Guardrail Management: Implement proactive compliance using Azure Policy, ensuring that even as adoption accelerates, the environment remains audited and secure.
