Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideally based in Stevenage, with options for Bristol or Bolton for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing detailed design and development of electronic products
- Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations
- Conducting project risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Providing engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle
- Travelling occasionally to Stevenage and potentially to France for project-related activities (approximately 4 times per year)
- Managing hybrid working arrangements, with a minimum of 2 days on-site per week
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in M&E Project Management and TP144 project frameworks
- Proven expertise in Project Engineering (CORE)
- Experience in managing detailed design and development of electronic products
- Strong understanding of engineering development and design processes
- Ability to work within the Defence & Security sector, with an active SC clearance (not BPSS or UKEO)
- Preferred qualification in Engineering, Science, or Electronics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
