Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking UKIC cleared candidates. to join their team on a contract basis. This exciting opportunity is open to UKIC DV cleared candidates and will be based in either Cheltenham or London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading security initiatives and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks within the organisation
- Developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Conducting security audits and preparing detailed reports
- Managing and responding to security incidents, coordinating with relevant stakeholders
- Providing expert guidance and support on security matters to all levels of the organisation
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance security measures
- Staying updated on the latest security regulations, trends, and best practices
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a security lead role within the Defence and Security sector
- Possession of a valid UKIC DV clearance
- Strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to analyse complex security issues and develop effective solutions
- Proficiency in preparing comprehensive security reports and documentation
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in either Cheltenham or London
