Registered Building Inspector - London & Kent Salary: Highly negotiable, dependent on experience
Role Overview
The organisation is expanding its technical team and is seeking two Registered Building Inspectors to support projects across London and Kent. These roles are office‑based in Kent, with site visits across the region. You'll play a key part in ensuring compliance, safety, and quality across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out building control inspections in line with regulatory standards and professional best practice.
Assess plans, specifications, and structural details for compliance with Building Regulations.
Produce clear, accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed project records.
Advise clients, contractors, and design teams on compliance matters and technical solutions.
Manage your own caseload, ensuring timely inspections and effective communication.
Support the organisation's commitment to high‑quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
Participate in ongoing training and development through the BSR subscription and in‑house programmes.
Required Skills & Experience
Registered Building Inspector status (Class 2 or above preferred).
Strong working knowledge of current Building Regulations and associated legislation.
Experience conducting site inspections across a range of project types.
Confident communicator with the ability to advise clients and resolve technical issues.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and Kent.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
