Our client, a leader in the data centre construction sector, is currently seeking an organised and methodical Electrical Storesperson to join a major project in Frankfurt, Germany. This role is crucial to ensure the smooth operation of stores management, especially focusing on Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) containment and cable pulling materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical stock, including containment parts, cabling, fixings, and specialised tooling.
- Oversee the receipt of all deliveries, checking quantities and quality against delivery notes and reported orders.
- Efficiently issue materials and tools to site supervisors and electricians to ensure work continues without interruption.
- Manage the return of surplus materials and ensure the stores area remains tidy, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor the hire and maintenance of electrical plant and equipment, ensuring all items are tracked and inspected regularly.
- Liaise with the Project Manager and Site Manager to flag low stock levels and assist with upcoming material requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Storesperson or Warehouse Operative within the construction or electrical industry (Data Centres or large industrial projects preferred).
- Familiarity with electrical components, containment systems, and different types of power and data cabling.
- Strong organisational skills and basic IT literacy for maintaining digital stock records.
- A valid forklift licence (Reach or Telescopic) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is required; the ability to speak German is a significant benefit.
- Must have the legal right to work within the EU.
