They undertake multi‑disciplinary design packages and support clients with turnkey domain expertise within their teams.
We are currently looking for a Project Engineer - Rail to join their collaborative and dynamic team and contribute to continued year‑on‑year growth.

Job Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering rail infrastructure projects across multiple disciplines. We welcome candidates from Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering backgrounds who are keen to work within a multi‑disciplinary rail environment.
You will support planning, coordination, technical assurance and delivery of engineering packages, working closely with Project Managers, clients and design partners. This is a hands‑on engineering and coordination role suited to someone who enjoys technical problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement. You will represent the company confidently in client‑facing meetings and work closely with external stakeholders and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engineering packages aligned to programme, cost and quality requirements
Support development, coordination and assurance of multi‑disciplinary designs
Interpret client requirements and standards to produce compliant engineering solutions
Coordinate interfaces between disciplines and stakeholders in complex rail environments
Support technical reviews and design assurance processes across project lifecycle stages
Monitor compliance with rail standards, health & safety and environmental requirements
Assist with risk management, issue resolution and change control
Contribute to technical proposals and client presentations
Build strong working relationships with client representatives and stakeholders
Work collaboratively within internal and client teams to support high‑performance delivery
Mentor junior and graduate engineers where appropriate
Manage personal workload across multiple projects and deadlines
About You
We are seeking engineers who are technically capable, commercially aware and confident operating in client‑facing rail environments.
Essential Criteria
Right to work in the UK
Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSc, MSc or MEng)
Minimum 5+ years' experience in engineering design, design coordination or project engineering within infrastructure or rail
Experience in a multi‑disciplinary project environment
Understanding of the UK rail environment and regulatory framework
Knowledge of TfL Pathway or Network Rail GRIP/PACE processes and standards
Working knowledge of relevant rail standards and assurance processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet programme deadlines
Proactive mindset with willingness to broaden technical and commercial knowledge
Proficient in MS Office
Desirable Criteria
Experience across stations, track, civils, MEP or systems
Knowledge of full project lifecycle from concept to handover
MSc or related postgraduate qualification
Membership of a relevant professional body, chartered or working towards chartership
