Contract Opportunity
Our client, a well‑established organisation within the aerospace sector, is looking for 4 Semi‑Skilled Operatives to join their Rib Cell Area.
- 1 position - trained on lates and remains on lates
- 3 positions - trained on earlies, then transferred to lates
Pay Rates
PAYE
- Earlies: £15.38 per hour
- Lates: £18.45 per hour
- Overtime (over 37 hrs & Saturdays): £23.07 per hour
- Sundays & Bank Holidays: £30.76 per hour
Umbrella
- Earlies: £21.14 per hour
- Lates: £25.36 per hour
- Overtime (over 37 hrs & Saturdays): £31.70 per hour
- Sundays & Bank Holidays: £42.27 per hour
Shift Times
Earlies:
- Mon-Thu: 06:00-14:15
- Fri: 06:00-12:00
Lates:
- Mon-Thu: 14:15-22:30
- Fri: 12:00-18:00
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fitting tasks within the Rib Cell Area to a high standard
- Assist with assembly and installation of ribs in aerospace structures
- Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow technical drawings and detailed instructions
- Perform inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance
- Work collaboratively to achieve production targets
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area
Requirements
- Previous fitting experience or similar hands‑on background within aerospace
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow set processes and complete precise work
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Flexibility to work across required shifts
Security Clearance
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
If clearance cannot be obtained, employment may not be possible or may be withdrawn on national security grounds.
