Our client, a leading consultancy in the transmission and distribution (T&D) sector, is currently seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, analysing, and reviewing structural elements within T&D infrastructure projects
- Conducting site assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including reports, calculations, and drawings
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project integration and delivery
- Providing technical support during construction phases, including responding to RFI (Requests for Information)
- Ensuring projects are completed within the specified timelines and budgets
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
- Participating in project meetings and providing expert advice
Job Requirements:
- Experience in civil structural engineering within the T&D sector
- Strong knowledge of relevant civil engineering principles and T&D standards
- Proficiency in using engineering software for structural analysis and design
- Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
