Matchtech are supporting a key client in downtown Toronto for the recruitment of a Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. The requisition is a contract position for 12 months initially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up projects in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software
- Input data, maintain logs, and run reports and analysis
- Create and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Develop, implement, and maintain accurate scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts
- Follow and track project execution plans
- Approve Purchase Orders and Subcontracts for proper coding
- Document and analyse changes to cost reports or forecasts
- Develop and maintain an earned value management system
- Assist with material takeoffs and ensure quality checks of project controls deliverables
- Lead project risk management activities
- Coordinate project schedules and the development of scheduling reports
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience in project controls
- Experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating, and document control
- Knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 is preferred
- Ability to produce detailed construction schedules interfacing with engineering and procurement activities
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification or ability to obtain it
