Matchtech are supporting a key client in downtown Toronto for the recruitment of a Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. The requisition is a contract position for 12 months initially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up projects in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software
  • Input data, maintain logs, and run reports and analysis
  • Create and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accurate scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts
  • Follow and track project execution plans
  • Approve Purchase Orders and Subcontracts for proper coding
  • Document and analyse changes to cost reports or forecasts
  • Develop and maintain an earned value management system
  • Assist with material takeoffs and ensure quality checks of project controls deliverables
  • Lead project risk management activities
  • Coordinate project schedules and the development of scheduling reports

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience in project controls
  • Experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating, and document control
  • Knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 is preferred
  • Ability to produce detailed construction schedules interfacing with engineering and procurement activities
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • OSHA 10-hour safety certification or ability to obtain it
