Our client, a leader in the rail sector, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of major rail-related projects across the Republic of Ireland. This is a permanent opportunity for a proven leader with deep expertise in large‑scale transportation and infrastructure programmes.
Based ideally in or around Dublin, the successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, international delivery partners, and key stakeholders across multiple locations. Applicants based in London will also be considered, provided they are willing to travel to Ireland as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of major rail and transportation design programmes covering new railway stations, infrastructure upgrades, electrification, civils, permanent way (P-Way), and signalling.
- Manage full project lifecycle activity across design, coordination, governance, and reporting.
- Oversee interfaces between international contractors and local delivery teams.
- Ensure seamless cross-country coordination and communication.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal engineering teams.
- Drive excellence across safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.
