Overview
We are seeking three Quality Engineers to join our aerospace client on a long‑term programme. You will support quality activities across the site, focusing on developing, implementing and maintaining quality management processes, supporting audits, and driving product and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Quality Engineering tools including SPC, Gauge R&R, FMEA, Six Sigma methods, attribute charts and control plans
* Support and contribute to Management Quality Reviews (weekly and monthly)
* Compile and present KPIs for key business functions
* Investigate product, process and system quality issues and drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders
* Participate in or manage product recalls when required by regulatory or customer needs
* Contribute to design reviews and new product introduction activities
* Maintain, update and control company quality documentation
* Train and support certifying staff and self‑certification programmes
* Conduct internal business system audits and product audits to schedule
* Support maintenance of company approvals including ISO9001, AS9100, EASA Part 21 and customer‑specific standards
* Take part in wider quality and continuous improvement initiatives across the business
Experience & Skills
- Experience in aerospace quality engineering or a regulated manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of aerospace standards such as EASA and AS9100
* Experience of PFMEA, 8D, and root‑cause analysis
* Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) and able to learn internal business systems quickly
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Audit trained (Lead Auditor preferred)
* HNC/HND or degree in engineering or equivalent experience
