The successful candidate will operate within the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) framework and demonstrate the technical capability required for Class 2D-F, covering a broad range of building types and complexity levels.

  • Prepare accurate and timely inspection notes, reports, notices, and compliance documentation.

Technical Expertise

  • Assess Full Plans, Building Notices, Regularisation applications, and other statutory submissions.

  • Provide technical guidance on fire safety, structure, accessibility, energy efficiency, drainage, and other regulatory areas.

  • Engage with architects, engineers, builders, and homeowners to support compliant design and construction practices.

  • Operate in accordance with BSR registration requirements for Class 2D-F.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, technical standards, and industry developments.

  • Larger or more technically demanding buildings not classified as higher‑risk (Class 2F)

  • Alterations, extensions, refurbishments, and change‑of‑use projects across these categories

This level provides broad operational autonomy while recognising that certain complex elements may require referral to Class 3 inspectors.
