Structural Engineer - Frankfurt
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join an international team delivering high‑quality technical solutions across building construction and civil engineering projects. With over 25 years supporting major developments worldwide, the team continues to grow following successful expansion into Germany.
Role Overview
You will take on a key role in planning, design, and construction, working alongside a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team. This position requires strong technical ability, creativity, and excellent communication skills in both German and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare verifiable static calculations for steel and reinforced concrete structures (precast and cast‑in‑place)
- Conduct variant analyses and preliminary design calculations
- Support the constructive implementation of structural solutions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple planning disciplines
- Contribute to the development of system solutions
- Carry out site and building inspections
- Deliver work on time with accuracy and efficiency
Profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering, ideally with a structural or materials focus
- Solid understanding of building materials and modern design standards; knowledge of Eurocode national annexes is an advantage
- Familiarity with HOAI service phases or RIBA stages
- Experience preparing static calculations in steel and reinforced concrete
- Proficient with RFEM, FRILO or similar design software
- Strong communication, teamwork, and integration skills
- Independent, creative, and goal‑oriented working style
- Fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel within Europe and a valid Category B driving licence
