Process Design Engineer - Water Sector
We are looking for a Process Design Engineer to support the delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects. In this role, you will develop technical process designs, create engineering documentation, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure solutions are safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop process designs for water and wastewater treatment systems, including calculations, P&IDs, mass balances, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical input during feasibility, outline, and detailed design phases.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers to deliver fully integrated solutions.
- Support HAZOP/HAZID reviews and ensure designs meet regulatory and environmental requirements.
- Offer technical support during construction, commissioning, and handover.
Skills & Experience:
- Background in chemical, process, environmental, or related engineering.
- Experience in the water sector (clean or wastewater) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of treatment processes and relevant industry standards.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
