Our client, a prominent company in the construction sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee a short-term upgrade project at Reading FC's stadium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site activities and act as the primary on-site lead
- Manage and coordinate M&E contractors, ensuring seamless integration of services
- Supervise installation of high-powered audio systems and associated infrastructure
- Oversee MEWP operations, ensuring safe and compliant use
- Manage UPS-related works and ensure all power-critical upgrades meet required standards
- Liaise with multiple subcontractors; all project delivery is via sub-contracted teams
- Maintain strict health & safety compliance at all times
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS are followed
- Monitor progress against programme and escalate issues proactively
- Report daily on site activity, progress, and any deviations from schedule
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on M&E-heavy or stadium/arena projects
- CSCS Black Card preferred, though strong experience will be considered
- Competent overseeing MEWP-based works (IPAF beneficial but not essential)
- Strong understanding of electrical/M&E coordination and specialist contractor management
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise between stakeholders and subcontractors
- Strong H&S awareness and ability to enforce compliance
- Availability to work 10-hour days for the duration of the project
