Our client, a leading player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical CAD professional for a contract role. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in high-profile defence projects, offering you the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site as required. The position is based in Broad Oak and will last for six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed mechanical designs using Siemens NX 10
- Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met
- Updating and maintaining design records in Siemens Teamcentre
- Participating in design reviews and providing technical input
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Supporting on-site visits as and when required
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD, particularly Siemens NX 10
- Experience with Siemens Teamcentre
- Understanding of defence and security sector requirements
- BPSS + SC in flight clearance
- Ability to work flexibly, both remotely and on-site
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
