Our client in the water industry is seeking experienced Wastewater Modellers for a contract position based in Leeds. This role offers hybrid, flexible working arrangements, and an initial 12-month contract, operating inside IR35. The role covers various specialisations including wastewater modelling, surface water modelling, hydraulic modelling, and network modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed wastewater and surface water modelling
- Performing hydraulic and network modelling using relevant software
- Analysing and interpreting modelling results to provide actionable insights
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Preparing technical reports and presentations based on modelling data
- Ensuring all modelling work complies with industry standards and regulations
- Contributing to the development and optimisation of wastewater management strategies
- Participating in project meetings and providing technical expertise as needed
Job Requirements:
- Experience in wastewater, surface water, hydraulic, or network modelling
- Proficiency with InfoWorks ICM software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
