Our client BAE Systems, a prominent entity in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based in Broad Oak with remote working and occasional visits to site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of electronic systems for defence applications
- Design of AC & DC power generation and distribution systems including sizing, protection, control, and the specification of power supplies and converters
- EMC management and verification
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integration of electrical systems
- Conducting detailed analysis and testing of electrical components
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for electronic systems
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Generate design documentation and technical reports

Job Requirements:
- Experience in electronics design engineering
- Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Understanding of industry standards and electrical safety regulations
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
