Our client, a leading banking institution in the retail sector, is currently seeking both Mid and Senior Calypso Application Support professionals to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. This permanent role involves providing robust IT support within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical and functional support at L1 and L2 levels for Fixed Income (FI), Foreign Exchange (FX), and Credit financial instruments
- Managing and tracking incidents, ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborating with L3 support teams for escalations
- Coordinating and monitoring the maintenance backlog
- Participating in testing and validating new application enhancements and releases
- Contributing to the knowledge base for quick and effective user support
Job Requirements:
- Experience in IT support within the banking sector
- Proficiency with Calypso software and SQL on Oracle
- Understanding of payment processing, announcements, and collateral
- Ability to manage L1/L2 support and collaborate with L3 teams
- Experience in tracking maintenance backlogs and efficient task management
- Active involvement in testing and validating application updates
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement (CI/CD) practices
- Strong project management skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
