Skilled Groundworker / Lead Pipe Layer
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Lead Pipe Layer to join our team on a long‑term project expected to run for around 12 months. You will be responsible for leading pipe‑laying operations on site, ensuring accuracy, safety, and high‑quality installation of drainage and utility systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising pipe‑laying activities on site
- Installing pipes to line, level, and grade specifications
- Reading and interpreting site drawings
- Ensuring all works meet safety guidelines and quality standards
- Coordinating with the site team and reporting progress
- Supporting junior operatives and maintaining a safe working area
