Our client, a specialist in the water treatment sector, is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract position. This role involves ensuring the integrity and efficiency of mechanical processes within water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing mechanical designs to ensure they meet industry standards and client requirements
  • Providing expert advice to clients on mechanical engineering solutions
  • Policing and monitoring compliance of water companies with mechanical standards and practices
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise process performance
  • Generating detailed reports on mechanical process performance and recommended improvements
  • Conducting on-site inspections to validate mechanical installations
  • Supporting project management teams with technical expertise and insights

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical engineering within the water sector
  • Strong understanding of mechanical processes and design principles
  • Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent advisory skills with a client-focused approach
  • Strong policing and monitoring abilities regarding compliance standards
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
