The Role

This is more than a job-it's an opportunity to shape the future of military training.

As the Collaboration Effectiveness Manager, you will be central to ensuring seamless integration between industry partners and British Army stakeholders. You will champion effective communication, shared purpose, and high‑performance collaboration across a diverse, multi‑organisation environment.

  • Build strong relationships to promote transparency, shared ownership, and continuous improvement.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Establish and track collaboration KPIs, including communication quality, decision‑making effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Deliver meaningful insights and reports to senior leaders across industry and the Army.

Process & Tool Optimisation

  • Identify and implement digital collaboration tools and platforms.
  • Standardise processes for knowledge sharing, feedback, issue resolution, and joint working.

Training & Capability Building

  • Promote best practice in agile working, co‑creation, and integrated delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in programme or cultural change management within defence, government, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and facilitation skills, capable of aligning diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of collaboration tools, platforms, and data‑driven decision-making.
  • Experience working within or alongside military organisations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Training or certification in collaboration frameworks.
  • Background in organisational psychology, systems thinking, or related disciplines.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals with a mission mindset-people who are driven by purpose, service, and impact.
You'll thrive in environments where collaboration and adaptability are key. You'll challenge bureaucracy, push for continuous improvement, and share lessons openly. You don't need a military background, but you must understand what it means to put the mission first.
