Project Professional - 12 month contract - Filton, Gloucestershire or Portsmouth, Hampshire - £27.22 ph UMB or £20.34 ph PAYE (Inside IR35)
The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.
The Role
- Responsible for various aspects of Project Management & Governance (P&G) processes supporting the T26 Support Programme.
- Provide support to both the P&G team and the wider Support team to aid delivery of the programme.
- The jobholder requires the ability to arrive at conclusions and follow the most appropriate course of action. Works within procedural constraints or BAE process and Programme delivery requirements.
- The post requires good knowledge and experience with Excel and Powerpoint.
- Undertakes a range of specialist duties specific to the Defence Solutions Support Programme.
Role Responsibilities:

- Able to perform intermediate project reporting and scheduling
- Query resolution of basic and routine problems
- Develop knowledge of Business processes and procedures
- Project controls tasks i.e. finance tracking, EVM facilitation
- Facilitate delivery schedule review and reporting
- Raising requisitions in various systems
- SAP creations - structure/codes/reports
- Facilitation and reporting of Business Dynamics - Winning & Project on behalf of the programme
- Resource analysis and reporting
- Finance reporting
- Support with monthly CAM reporting
What are BAE Systems looking for from you?
- Can use all Microsoft Office software comprehensively i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Project management knowledge and understanding would be beneficial
- Willing to develop knowledge of the business, programme and processes
Security Requirements: SC & UK EYES ONLY
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC and you must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5 year period.
