Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job profile:
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Technician for one of our clients to join the maintenance team based at Maple Lodge STW. You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment at the waste treatment is safe to use and running efficiently, using proactive and reactive maintenance methods.
Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. Plus, standby & overtime opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate plant failures and perform repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Provide technical advice
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working on the following equipment: motors, gearboxes, screw /chain conveyors & centrifuges, various pumps, and associated control gear, 3-phase motors, starters, automatic valves, flow, level and pressure measurement, programmable, chemical handling, and dosing equipment.
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues
- Physical fitness for work in confined spaces, with appropriate training
- Valid driving licence
