About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver a range of heavy rolling stock modification, retrofit, refurbishment, and overhaul projects. Working within a fast‑paced engineering environment, you will be responsible for ensuring all project activities are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project management of rolling stock modification and overhaul programmes.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, production, procurement, and quality.
- Manage project schedules, risk registers, budgets, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety, technical, and regulatory standards.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure efficient project delivery.
Essential Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate:
- Proven project management experience in heavy rolling stock environments, specifically involving:
- Modifications
- Retrofits
- Refurbishment
- Overhaul programmes
- Strong understanding of rail industry processes, standards, and engineering controls.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
