Appointed Person

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) to join a reputable contractor working on major civils and construction projects in the Ipswich area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create lift plans and ensure all lifting operations meet industry standards
• Work with Crane Supervisors, Slinger/Signallers and Site Management
• Identify lifting hazards and implement safe working systems
• Coordinate lifting activities with site teams
• Review RAMS and brief all personnel involved
• Strong understanding of lifting operations within civils, construction or infrastructure
• Capable of producing method statements, lift plans and technical drawings

Appointed Person (A61 / CPCS/AP) qualification - essential
