About the Role


We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead major electrical systems delivery on a high‑profile hyperscale data centre project in Norway. This is a technically challenging, fast‑track programme requiring strong leadership, deep electrical expertise, and the ability to manage complex installation and integration works.
You will oversee all electrical construction activities, ensuring safe, high‑quality delivery while driving programme performance and coordinating cross‑functionally with Mechanical, CSA, Commissioning, and Client teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of all electrical systems across the full project lifecycle, including HV/LV distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, lighting, containment, and critical power infrastructure.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed electrical project schedules in line with overall programme milestones.
  • Manage electrical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance expectations.
  • Coordinate electrical works with Mechanical, CSA, ICT and Commissioning teams to maintain seamless integration.
  • Oversee technical submissions, design reviews, RFIs, and change management processes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, supervising installation progress and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Liaise with the client and design partners to resolve technical queries and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Support procurement planning, material tracking, logistics coordination, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Ensure all electrical works follow HSE policies, statutory regulations, and industry best practice.

Requirements

  • Strong experience delivering electrical packages on large‑scale construction or mission‑critical projects.
  • Previous data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or heavy industrial project experience is highly advantageous.
  • Expert understanding of electrical distribution, critical power, life safety systems, and high‑reliability design principles.
  • Demonstrable leadership and coordination skills on fast‑paced, high‑value projects.
  • Excellent communication, issue‑resolution, and cross‑discipline collaboration abilities.
  • Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Willingness to work in Norway (rotation or full‑time).
  • EU/UK passport or valid right to work in Norway.
