Craft the Decks That Carry the World's Most Beautiful Yachts

Sunseeker isn't just a name, it's a global symbol of luxury, performance, and craftsmanship. Now, you have the opportunity to join that legacy.

We're looking for skilled Teak Deck Carpenters to become part of the team responsible for creating the stunning teak decks that define Sunseeker yachts. This is hands‑on, precision carpentry at its finest, every deck you help build will be seen in marinas from Monaco to Miami.

If you take pride in perfection and love working with premium materials, this is the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Teak Deck Carpenter, you'll work across multiple yacht lines and craft bespoke teak installations from start to finish. Think of it as high‑end hardwood flooring… but on multi‑million‑pound superyachts.

You'll be:

  • Shaping, scribing and fitting teak with pinpoint accuracy
  • Working with unique curves, angles and irregular shapes
  • Using a range of adhesives and materials (teak, glass, stainless steel and more)
  • Sanding, preparing and finishing decks to Sunseeker's world‑class standard
  • Collaborating within small, highly skilled teams at our Poole Shipyards

Every deck you complete becomes part of a yacht that will travel the world. Your craftsmanship will be admired by owners, crews and shipbuilders globally.

What You'll Bring

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Proven carpentry skills-especially with hardwood or precision flooring
  • Confidence working to tight tolerances and detailed templates
  • Strong knowledge of materials, adhesives and finishing techniques
  • Patience, pride and passion for exceptional workmanship
  • A positive, team‑focused attitude

Whether your experience comes from marine, bespoke joinery, construction, furniture making or any high‑quality carpentry environment, your skillset is valued here.

Why Join Sunseeker?

  • Work with one of the most respected yacht manufacturers in the world
  • Be part of an award‑winning workforce
  • Build products that you can point at and say, "I helped create that."
  • Enjoy reliable daytime hours with your weekends free
  • Develop your skills in a clean, well‑organised shipyard environment

This is your chance to join a team where craftsmanship truly matters, and where your work becomes part of something extraordinary.
