Site Manager
Overview
Matchtech are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a shaft sinking and tunnel drive project in Stourport. This is a key role on a specialist civils scheme with a strong emphasis on safe delivery and effective site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations on a shaft sinking/tunnel drive project
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour and plant
- Maintain high safety standards and site documentation
- Support (where required) elements of M&E installation
- Work closely with project teams and client representatives
- Ensure efficient progress and quality across all works
- Liaise with Brian Thomas as the initial point of contact for the project
Requirements
- Proven background in water or civils projects
- Experience in tunnelling or shaft sinking preferred (but not essential)
- SMSTS certification
- Strong leadership and site coordination skills
- M&E installation experience beneficial but not mandatory
