Site Manager
Overview
Matchtech are recruiting for a Site Manager to support upcoming Severn Trent Water projects across the East and West Midlands. Site locations are to be confirmed, but all works fall under the Severn Trent framework.
These roles will focus on reinforced concrete ducting and pipelaying works on wastewater and sewage treatment sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations on RC ducting and pipelaying projects
- Work closely with Severn Trent Water representatives
- Assist with programme management and ensure project milestones are met
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and materials
- Support M&E installation works within sewage treatment facilities
- Maintain high HSEQ standards and site compliance
- Produce and manage site documentation and progress reports
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Site Manager in the water sector
- Ideally experience with Severn Trent Water frameworks
- Alternatively, experience with major UK water frameworks (e.g., Anglian, Thames, Yorkshire)
- Knowledge of RC works, ducting, and pipelaying
- Some M&E installation experience (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to manage programmes and contribute to planning discussions
