Injection Moulding Team Leader
Overview
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Team Leader to oversee a team of technicians and support efficient, safe, and compliant manufacturing operations. This role focuses on tooling management, process improvement, problem-solving, and leading a high-performing team within a regulated production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of technicians, ensuring high safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot injection moulding machinery and tooling issues and coordinate with external toolmakers.
- Oversee tool changes, setups, approvals, and daily production priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as cycle-time reduction, scrap reduction, and SMED.
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with GMP, ISO 9001, and cleanroom standards.
- Collaborate with planning, warehouse, quality, and manufacturing teams to maintain smooth production flow.
Skills & Experience
- Strong technical background in injection moulding and mould tool setting.
- Experience leading or supervising a technical team.
- Hands-on experience with hot runner and cold runner tooling.
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 14644 cleanroom requirements.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
