FMEA Engineer
Location: Bristol (Hybrid - approx. 3 days per week on-site)
Security Requirement: Candidates will be required to undergo BPSS background checks for an SC clearance.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced FMEA Engineer to support the development and ongoing improvement of complex engineering systems. You will play a key role in enhancing robustness, reliability, testability, and maintainability across hardware and software components.
As part of a growing systems engineering team, you will contribute to system evolution, product lifecycle improvements, and diagnostic/maintenance procedure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and maintain Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) across system architectures.
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend design changes to improve reliability and testability.
- Support development of maintenance strategies and fault‑diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to implement system improvements.
- Contribute to continuous enhancement of engineering processes and system performance.
