Our client, an established organisation within the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Highway Developer & Infrastructure Team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting technical audits and approvals of developer Section 38 and 278 submissions
- Ensuring compliance with development control standards and guidelines
- Reviewing and commenting on planning applications from a highways perspective
- Providing expert advice to developers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Managing and supervising project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
- Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to achieve project objectives
- Maintaining detailed project documentation and records
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highway engineering and development control
- Strong understanding of Section 38 and 278 agreements
- Proficiency in technical audits and reviewing planning applications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
