Our client, a leading player in the marine sector, is currently seeking a Project Planner to join their dynamic team in West Wales. This is a contract role ideal for someone who thrives in complex build environments, coordinating multiple suppliers and interdisciplinary inputs to deliver a well-structured and controllable programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project
  • Coordinate planning input from various suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Integrate multiple workstreams into a unified project plan
  • Monitor progress against agreed milestones and identify risks or potential delays
  • Support project and delivery teams with planning insight and reporting
  • Update programmes to reflect changes as the project evolves
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding progress and dependencies

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Planner or Project Planner within construction or build environments
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Project (essential)
  • Experience working on projects involving numerous suppliers and stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with both site and office-based teams

Location & Working Arrangement


This role is based in West Wales with a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates must be comfortable travelling to the site on a regular basis. The standard working week is 38.75 hours.

Contract Details


This role is open to both permanent and contract applications. The compensation is dependent on experience.
