These positions are permanent roles, working on prestigious projects within airports, rail, energy, and nuclear markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading commercial management activities on major projects valued at £100 million plus
- Administering contracts, with strong proficiency in NEC and FIDIC
- Managing and resolving contractual issues and commercial risks
- Overseeing quantity surveying functions, ensuring accurate cost management and forecasting
- Collaborating with project teams to deliver successful project outcomes
- Preparing and negotiating claims, when necessary
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in quantity surveying and commercial management
- Proficiency in contract administration, particularly with NEC; FIDIC experience is advantageous
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects, ideally within the £100 million plus range
- Experience in claims management is a bonus but not essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Willingness to travel as required
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in quantity surveying or a related field
