Our client, a leading company in the construction sector, specifically in steel erection, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing on-site construction activities
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards
  • Conducting site surveys and establishing site control
  • Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and craftsmen to ensure efficient and effective construction processes
  • Implementing health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
  • Preparing and maintaining site documentation, including daily reports and progress updates
  • Coordinating with suppliers and ensuring materials are delivered as required
  • Resolving technical issues and providing engineering solutions on-site

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in site engineering within steel/steel erection
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in using relevant engineering software and tools
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
