Our client, a leading company in the aerospace and airline operations sector, is currently seeking a PPC Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.

You will own and manage the development and optimisation of paid search activity as part of integrated, multi‑channel performance marketing campaigns. This role requires strong autonomy and initiative, with hands-on management of Google and Microsoft (Bing) Ads accounts, supported by extensive use of bid management platforms.

You will play a key role in driving paid search performance across multiple European and international markets, with a clear focus on improving efficiency, increasing scalability, and driving revenue growth through data‑led optimisation and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own, manage, and support the development of local and international Paid Search (PPC) strategies across multiple markets.
  • Build and optimise paid search campaigns end‑to‑end, including campaign structure, ad copy, keywords, extensions, tracking, and settings.
  • Lead day‑to‑day optimisation using bid management platforms, ensuring campaigns are performance‑driven and aligned to commercial objectives.
  • Work cross‑functionally with trading, marketing, and wider digital teams (e.g. SEO, media, content) to ensure consistent execution and alignment across channels.
  • Identify and research new opportunities, trends, and innovations within Paid Search to support account growth and performance improvement.
  • Drive a structured, data‑led testing roadmap, continuously experimenting with new approaches to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Deliver accurate, timely performance reporting with clear insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar Paid Search / PPC role managing large-scale, complex accounts.
  • Strong experience with Google Ads, including advanced use of Google Ads Editor to create and manage campaigns at scale.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make clear performance recommendations.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including working confidently with large datasets, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation techniques.
  • Strong reporting and organisational skills, with the ability to deliver data requests accurately and on time.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and hit deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience using SA360 or comparable bid management platforms.
  • Experience working with media owners and/or agencies.
  • Experience within the travel or ecommerce sector.
  • Experience using scripts to automate Paid Search tasks (nice to have, not essential)
