Our client is seeking an experienced Tree Inspector to support the inspection and proactive management of trees across their highway network, with a focus on Ash Dieback.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed tree inspections across the highway network, open spaces, and other areas of responsibility
- Identify, assess, and record the presence and progression of Ash Dieback disease, providing evidence‑based management recommendations
- Maintain accurate digital records of inspections
Person Specification
- Recognised qualification in Arboriculture or demonstrable experience in tree inspection and surveying, particularly relating to Ash Dieback
- Knowledge of tree risk assessment methods
- Understanding of current legislation and best practice in arboriculture and tree management
- Competent in using IT for inspection recording
- Full UK Driving Licence
