Commissioning Engineer
Our client, a prestigious player in the power utilities sector, is on the lookout for a dedicated Commissioning Engineer with expertise in power distribution to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience working with 11kv systems and possesses a strong understanding of commissioning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing testing and commissioning of 11kv to 132kv electrical systems
- Assisting with power distribution projects
- Supporting senior engineers in the execution of their duties
- Providing troubleshooting and technical support for installations
- Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations
- Documenting test results and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Undertaking training as required to develop skillsets to higher voltage systems
Job Requirements:
- Test and Commissioning experience on LV to 33kv systems
- Previously experience as an Electrician / Sparky (18th Edition, 2391, Level 3)
- Happy to work across the UK and with the flexibility to work and stay away occasionally. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to safety and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
- Willingness to undergo further training and development
Benefits:
