Our client, a leading consultancy in the rail sector, is currently seeking a BIM Lead to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for growth within the organisation.

- Shape and implement the project-wide BIM strategy aligned with client requirements, lifecycle needs, and delivery objectives
- Lead the configuration and oversight of digital design systems, including ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), to ensure seamless team collaboration
- Develop, maintain, and enforce the Design BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and BIM Uses to guide consistent, high-quality model development across disciplines
- Provide technical leadership for multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring consistent application of Civil 3D, Revit, and digital best practices throughout all phases of design
- Work collaboratively with Construction BIM teams to align digital delivery workflows from design through execution
- Monitor Design BIM team performance and report insights, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Design Manager
- Mentor junior staff, elevate modelling standards, and contribute to the evolution of national/regional BIM methodologies
Job Requirements:
- Experience in BIM delivery for complex infrastructure projects, ideally within rail and transit environments
- Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, ProjectWise, ACC, and model-based collaboration tools
- Understanding and application of ISO 19650 standards
- Hands-on experience developing and enforcing BIM execution plans and ensuring compliance with BIM/CAD standards
- Proven experience leading senior designers, modellers, and multi-office teams in a matrix environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in evolving project environments
- Bonus: Experience with Dynamo/Python scripting, design automation, or AR/VR applications in infrastructure modelling
