Our client, a prominent entity in the highways sector, is currently seeking a TRO Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves office-based work focused exclusively on the production of Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) plans, with no requirement for site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing TRO plans using Parkmap and CAD software
- Assisting in catching up with the backlog of TRO requests
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations
- Collaborating with the team to meet the daily production target of approximately 10 plans
- Maintaining systematic records of all produced plans
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and address any issues
Job Requirements:
- Experience in traffic and highway planning
- Proficiency in using Parkmap and CAD software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate plans
- Understanding of Traffic Regulation Orders and relevant regulations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
