We are recruiting two Warehouse Operatives to support an aerospace client in Southampton on a contract basis.
Due to the nature of the role, BPSS clearance is required. If clearance cannot be obtained, employment may not be possible.
Hours - Early Shift
* Monday-Thursday: 06:00-14:15
* Friday: 06:00-12:00
Pay Rates
* £14.03 per hour PAYE + holiday
* £16.14 per hour PAYE including holiday
* £19.29 per hour Umbrella
Overtime:
* Time and a half after 37 hours
* Double time on Sundays
Responsibilities
* Receive, inspect and process inbound goods
* Pick, pack and prepare items for despatch
* Support stock control, put‑away and material movement across site
* Load and unload vehicles safely
* Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts (training provided if required)
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse
* Follow all health & safety and quality procedures
* Support daily targets and deadlines
* Overtime may be required to support the business
Requirements
* Warehouse or logistics experience preferred
* Forklift licence
* Computer‑literate with experience using warehouse systems
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Reliable, organised and able to work at pace
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Health & safety awareness
Security Clearance
BPSS clearance is mandatory and must be maintained throughout the contract.
