Metal Finishing Technician - Aerospace (Contract)
Our aerospace client based in Titchfield is seeking a Metal Finishing Technician to join their team on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will have heat treatment experience alongside metal finishing experience, primarily within chemical treatments such as alocroming, anodising, and related processes.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:15pm
Friday: 7:30am - 11:30am
Pay Rates
First 12 weeks - MT6
Basic: PAYE £18.72 | PAYE with Advanced Holiday Pay £21.44
Overtime: PAYE £28.08 | PAYE with Advanced Holiday Pay £32.16
Sundays: PAYE £37.44 | PAYE with Advanced Holiday Pay £42.88
Earlies (10%):PAYE £20.59 | PAYE with Advanced Holiday Pay £23.59
Lates (20%): PAYE £22.46 | PAYE with Advanced Holiday Pay £25.73
After 12 weeks - MT6
Basic: PAYE £19.29 | PAYE with Advanced Holiday Pay £22.09
Overtime: PAYE £28.93 | PAYE with Advanced Holiday Pay £33.14
Sundays: PAYE £38.58 | PAYE with Advanced Holiday Pay £44.18

Job Summary
Reporting to Team Leaders and the Manufacturing Team Manager, the role is primarily focused on the automated plating line. The position may become multi‑functional, supporting all forms of plating, preparation, and masking of parts within the Manufacturing Finishing Department (MFD). Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Produce work within cost targets

Adhere to all Eaton EHS, quality, and training requirements

Interpret engineering drawings and applicable aerospace plating specifications
Experience
Previous heat treatment experience is essential
Knowledge of chemical storage, safety, and usage
Problem solving and root cause analysis
Qualifications
Relevant plating or finishing qualifications are advantageous
Computer literacy, including MS Office
Health and safety qualifications are advantageous
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK adhering to ITAR restrictions
