Finance Director - UK & Ireland
Salary: £120,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus (OTE up to £150,000)
Location: Hybrid - Basingstoke (3 days per week in office)
An award‑winning, high‑growth technology services organisation is looking for an ambitious Finance Director to lead its UK & Ireland finance function.
The Role
As Finance Director (UK & Ireland), you will take full ownership of financial leadership across the UK business and Irish subsidiary, acting as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership.
You'll drive financial performance, strengthen controls, improve processes, and lead a high‑performing local finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic finance partner to UK & Ireland leadership
- Full responsibility for financial control, reporting, and compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and 5‑year planning
- Drive margin optimisation, pricing, and commercial decision‑making
- Deliver insightful management reporting and KPI analysis
- Oversee statutory accounts and external audit
- Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team
What We're Looking For
- Qualified finance professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- 5-10 years' experience in a fast‑paced, commercial environment
- Strong IFRS and financial governance knowledge
- Proven leader with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical, commercial, and highly organised
- Confident operating in a growth‑focused business
