Support Driver
About the Role
Matchtech is currently seeking a reliable and proactive Support Driver to work on the South West Water framework.
You will support essential utilities works by transporting materials, equipment, and sign lighting and guarding (SLG) for water mains repairs, new connections, and other excavation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991
- Maintain site safety and traffic management standards
- Complete job documentation using tablet-based systems
- Work closely with supervisors and digging teams to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Experience in highway or utilities reinstatement (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable: CSCS Card, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRSWA certification
