Our client is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team for a significant contract role. This position focuses on local authority and public realm work, on a high profile project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing multi-programme highways and transport changes
- Co-ordinating contractors and designers to ensure seamless project execution
- Managing project budgets and ensuring financial targets are met
- Engaging and managing stakeholders, maintaining a client-facing role
- Ensuring the project adheres to timelines and quality standards
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with all project participants
- Problem-solving and providing strategic guidance when necessary
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highways project management
- Strong organisational and co-ordination skills
- Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financials
- Experience working with local authorities or in public realm projects is advantageous
- Ability to work independently, with one day per week in office and the remainder remotely
- Understanding of NEC contracts and project management tools
