Warehouse Operative/Forklift driver

Temporary to Permanent
Pay - £14.83 per hour
8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) to join their team on a contract basis. This dynamic role involves both warehouse and forklift responsibilities, making it a diverse and engaging opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to manage, move, and store goods in the warehouse
- Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and safely
- Maintaining the organisation of the warehouse/stores area
- Performing regular inventory checks and stock takes
- Ensuring all operations comply with health and safety guidelines
- Utilising computer systems to log and track inventory
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
- Valid counterbalance forklift license
- Computer literacy and ability to use inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
