Our client, a leading organisation within the water sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Manager. This permanent position involves overseeing procurement, buying, and supply chain operations on major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end supply chain activities for major infrastructure projects
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies
- Engaging with market suppliers to secure high-quality and cost-effective resources
- Analysing data and preparing comprehensive reports for senior management
- Coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
Job Requirements:
- Experience in procurement, buying, and supply chain operations
- Experience in handling major infrastructure projects
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills
- Excellent market engagement capabilities
- Project management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
