Our client, a growing high‑voltage contractor in the power utilities sector, is seeking a motivated Graduate Project Engineer to join their team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to begin their career in power distribution, supporting a range of projects from renewable energy solutions to overhead line schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting pricing and tendering for new project enquiries
Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate cost assessments
Assisting with project estimations from LV to 11kV, with progression towards 33-132kV
Preparing detailed and competitive bid proposals
Liaising with contractors, suppliers and clients throughout project stages
Job Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or Power Systems Engineering)
Foundational understanding of the power transmission and distribution sector
Interest in developing a career in estimating or design within power utilities
Full right to work in the UK
