Our client, an established name in the Aerospace Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector, is looking for a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of aircraft maintenance and safety at their leading facility based at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as certifying staff within the maintenance organisation
- Perform routine and non-routine task cards
- Execute related operational tasks
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and rectify flight problems
- Document all work performed as per appropriate manuals and regulations
- Liaise with internal MRO and PO part 21 shops for maintenance issues
- Support customers during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, which may require working away from home base
Job Requirements:
- Practical experience in base maintenance
- Holder of European EASA Part-66 Cat B2 with experience as certifying staff for A318/A319/A320/A321/A330/A340/A350 aircraft types
- Flexibility to adapt and work in various environments
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards in quality, reliability, and safety
- Fluency in English
